4. Apply the preset thermal isolator (WC16) to the head, running the gasket continuously between the vertical mullions and the miter of the stack head at the
corner. Refer to Volume 2, page 23 of the S-8000 Unitized Curtain Wall Assembly Instructions for more information.
5. Clean the sealant contact surfaces of the mullions and gutters with an approved solvent or cleaner.
6. Apply a heavy bead of sealant to the ends of the gutters and the tops of the vertical mullions as shown in Figures 46 and 47.
7. Butt seal the mitered ends and install the SSG gutters to the frame at the head horizontal and secure with SPZ1. The gutters must butt together in the corner.
Tool a fillet bead of sealant along the back side of the gutter at the joint formed at the corner. Remove the remaining excess sealant at the mitered joint.
8. Tool the sealant at the tops of the vertical mullions as shown in Figure 48. Refer to Volume 2, page 25 of the S-8000 Unitized Curtain Wall Assembly
