Using other microphones
You can also use commercially avail
able microphones. Connect the exter
nal microphone to the MIC terminal.
Use commercially available condenser
microphones with their own power
supply. You can connect almost any
stereo microphone with a 0 3.5 mm
plug but audio recording levels may
vary.

Playing back recordings made with the optional SM-V1 Surround Micro
phone:
You oan enjoy 5.1 oh surround sound playbaok on FIDTVs oom-
patible with 5.1 oh surround sound oonneoted to the oamoorder using
an FIDMI oable. Audio output from the AV OUT/Q terminal (inoluding
headphone output) will be oonverted to 2oh stereo. The oamoorder's
built-in speaker is monaural.
When an external miorophone is oonneoted to the oamoorder, | ■■ |

When using the optional SM-V1 Surround Miorophone, ohange the
