To

cancel

depth-of-field

AE

in

mid-oper­

ation,

turn

the

command

dial

to

another

position.

When using a zoom lens, do not zoom the

lens after setting the first point.

For greater depth of field, we recommend

using a wide-angle lens.

For

shallow

depth

of

field,

place

both

points A and B on the same subject. This

method

is

effective

for

blurring

the

fore­

ground

and

background

when

shooting

portraits. Use a telephoto lens for best ef­

fect.
