When Eye Controlled Focus Is ON:
The
camera
continuously
focuses
and
tracks
the
subject
using
only
the
selected
focusing
point.
•
The selected focusing point lights red in
the
viewfinder
when
the
camera
detects
your line of sight.
When Eye Controlled Focus Is OFF:
First
cover
the
subject
with
the
center
focusing
point and press the shutter button halfway to
focus
the
subject.
After
that,
if
the
subject
moves
away
from
the
center
focusing
point
while the shutter button is still pressed half
way, the camera automatically shifts to one of
the
other
focusing
points
and
continues
tracking the subject.
•
Exposure
is
determined
immediately
be
fore the shutter is released.
•
In Al Servo AF mode, the in-focus indicator
does not function.
• Focus lock cannot be used in this mode.
