Setting and Selecting
FAVORITE CHANNEL
The IvWORITl-: CHANNKl, I'catiire of your
projeetion T\' enables easy aeeess to the eiglit
ehannels that you preset (or the last ehantiel that
you were watehiugV
Your FAVORITE CHANNEL options ean be set
automatieally or manually.
The faetory setting for FAVORITE CHANNEL is
ALTO.
When FAVORITE CHANNEL is .set to AUTO, the
last eight channels selected with the 0-9 buttons
will be set as FAVORITE CHANNEL options. If
you want to input your own selections as
FAVORITE CHANNEL .settings, set to
MANUAL.
Setting FAVORITE CHANNEL

1 Select FAVORITE CHANNEL from the
CHANNEL SET UP menu, (see pages 36 and
37)
Mor e the joystick up or down to select
M.VNU.Al. and press .C .
The FVW'ORrrH CHANNEL menu w ill appear.
If \ ou set CH.ANNEL C.APTION names (e.g.
CNN, HBO), they w ill also be displayed, (see
"CHANNEL CAPTION" on page 37)

3 Move the joystick up or down to select a
position (1-8), and press 0.

4 Mo\ e the joystick up or dow n to select a
channel.
Зои have now selected a favorite channel.

5 Press 0 and use the joystick to program other
favorite channels. (Follow- steps 3 and 4.)
6 Press MENU when you have finished.
Your favorite channels are now ready for use.
Resetting FAVORITE
CHANNEL choices
You have the option of returning to the FAVORITE
CHANNEL screen to adjust any of your favorite
channel choices.
Simply proceed as described in “Setting
FAVORITE CHANNEL manually” (skip step 2 if
MANUAL is already selected).
