Listening to the radio
Preset radio stations in the tuner’s memory first
(see page K). To turn on the system, press
l/(!).

BAND on the unit) repeatedly until the
band you want appears.
Each time you press the button, the band
changes as follows:

repeatedly until “PRESET” appears.
To Do this
Turn off the radio Press 1/C!) to turn off the
system.
Adjust the volume Press VOL +/-.
To listen to non-preset radio
stations
• Press PLAY/TUNING MODE repeatedly until
“MANUAL” appears in step 2, then press
+/- (or TUNING +/- on the unit) repeatedly to
tune in the desired station (Manual Tuning).
• Press PLAY/TUNING MODE repeatedly until
“AUTO” appears in step 2, then press
+/- (or TUNING +/- on the unit). The
frequency indication changes and scanning
stops when the system tunes in a station
(Automatic Tuning).
To cancel the Automatic Tuning
Press PLAYfTUNING MODE.
Tips
• You can switch from another source to the tuner by
pressing TUNER BAND (or TUNER/BAND on the
unit) (Automatic Source Selection).
• If you press TUNER BAND (or TUNER/BAND on
the unit) while the power is off, the power turns on
and the system tunes in the last received station
automatically (One Touch play).
• To improve broadcast reception, reorient the
supplied antennas or connect an optional external
antenna.
• When an FM program has static noise, press
STEREO/MONO until “MONO” appears. There
will be no stereo effect, but the reception will
improve. Press again to restore the stereo effect.
