Turn MULTI

* The selected MD or CD (MD whose
MD 1-5 button or CD whose CD 1-5
button is lit green) starts playing.

component connected to the TAPE jacks as
the sound
source.
Press ENTER/YES.
"DAILY TIMER" appears in the display.
The start time, the stop time, the sound
source and the volume appear in turn
before the original display returns.
To cancel the timer operation
1
Press TIMER SELECT, then turn MULTi
JOG until "TIMER OFF ?" appears.
2 Press ENTER/YES.
"DAILY" disappears from the display and
the timer operation is canceled.
Tip
When you cormect the optional TC-PXlOO tape deck
to the system (see page 78), the tape deck is
automatically turned on by the system's timer. This
lets you wake up to the tape without setting the
deck timer.
Notes
• You cannot use the Daily Timer at the same time
as the Recording Timer (REC).
• Do not operate the system from the time the
system turns on until the play starts (about
30 seconds before the preset time). If you do so,
the timer may not operate correctly.
• If the power is on at the time to turn on, the set
sound source starts playing.
• Optional components other than the TC-PXlOO
tape deck are not turned on by the Daily Timer.
When using these components as the sound
source, make the same timer settings on the
component side.
• If the timer-on and -off settings are the same,
"OFF TIME NG !" appears and the cursor returns
to the timer-off setting. Change the time to turn
off.

Turn off the system.
To change the setting
.Start over from step 1.
If you made a mistake, press CURSOR
and return to the point you want to change
during steps 5 to 7, then change the setting.
To check the setting/activate the
timer

Press TIMER SELECT, then turn MULTI
JOG until "DAILY SELECT ?" appears.
2 Press ENTER/YES.
"DAILY TIMER" appears in the display.
