• When you divide a labeled track (see page 51),
only the first of the two tracks retains the track
title.

• You cannot divide the start or end of a track.
If you specify the start or end of a track as the
position to be divided, "Impossible" appears.
Turn MULTI JCXIi to shift the position.
To return to the condition before
DIVIDE
You can return to the original condition
immediately after dividing the tracks (see
page 61). You can also return to the original
condition by using the Combine Function.
Combining recorded
tracks
— Combine Function
This function lets you put several tracks or
several independently recorded portions into
a single track. The total number of tracks
decrease accordingly and all the tracks
following the combined ones are
renumbered.
Example: Combining track 3 to track 1.
