To change the spectrum analyzer
display
Press UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER
DISPLAY at the same time.
Each time you press the buttons, the display
changes as follows:
Spectrum analyzer with peak hold
Tips
• The Preset Equalizer menu is factory set to
"l(ROCK]".
• The Preset Equalizer effect is not recorded on an
MD or a tape.
Timer
Falling asleep to
music
— Sleep Timer
You can have the system turn off at a preset
time, so you can fall asleep to music. You can
preset the time to turn off in 10 minute
intervals.

Press SLEEP.
Each time you press the button, the
minute display (the turn-off time)
changes as follows:
OFF -> AUTO — 90min

To check the remaining time
Press SLEEP once.
To change the time to turn off
Press SLEEP repeatedly to select the desired
time.
To cancel the Sleep Timer
operation
Press SLEEP repeatedly until “OFF" appears.
If you select "AUTO"
The system automatically turns off when the
current CD, MD or tape (only when using the
optional TC-PXlOO tape deck) finishes
playing. The system also turns off when you
press ■ and stop play. When a different
sound source is selected (e.g., TUNER), the
system turns off after about 4 hours.
Tip
You do not have to set the clock to use the Sleep
Timer.
