Playing an MD (continued)
To Do this
Stop play Press I for the MD.
Pause Press C>II for the MD (or MD
II on the remote). The light on
the
[>ll button changes from
green to orange.
Press again to resume play.
Select a track Turn MULTI JOG clockwise (to
go forward) or counter­
clockwise (to go back) and
release it when you locate the
desired track (or press MD
or on the remote
repeatedly).
Find a point in Keep pressing « or ►►
a track during play and release it at the
desired point.
Select an MD • Press MD 1-5. Play starts
when the button is pressed.
• Press MD D.SKIP on the
remote repeatedly so that the
MD 1-5 button is lit green.
Press
O-ll for the MD (or
MD O on the remote) to
play the selected MD.
If you press MD 1 - 5 (or MD
D.SKIP on the remote) during
play, the selected MD changes
and the new MD starts playing.
Remove an MD Open the MD cover and pull
the MD out from the slot. If the
MD has been loaded inside the
unit, (i.e., the corresponding
MD 1-5 button is lit green),
press MD — so that the MD is
returned to the slot, and then
pull the MD out from the slot.
Adjust the Turn VOLUME (or press VOL
volume to 1 ”) remote).
Do not use an MD on which the label sticks out
from the edge or on which the label is not
positioned correctly. Such labels can cause the MD
deck to malfunction.
Tips
• You can switch from another source to the MD
deck and start playing an MD just by pressing
[>ll for the MD (or MD O on the remote) or
MD 1 - 5 if an MD is loaded in the slot
(Automatic
Source Selection). However, if an MD is used in a
program, play does not start even if you press MD
1 - 5 .
• The MD 1-5 button indicators have the following
meanings when lit.
Green: The MD loaded in the slot is selected or
playing.
Orange: An MD is loaded in the slot.
• If an MD is not loaded to any of MD 1-5,
"No Disc" appears.
• You can also select and start playing a track in
step 4.
1 Press MD D.SKIP on the remote and select the
desired MD.
2 Turn MULTI JOG (or press MD or on
the remote) until the desired track number
appears.
3 Press Oil for the MD (or MD t> on the
remote).
• If you select or play a track on the MD recorded in
monaural format, "MONO" indication lights
white.
