INSTALLATION

1. REMOVING THE STOCK OIL PAN

Remove the stock oil pan. Then remove all signs of the old gasket with a metal scraper.

2. CHANGE BOLTS

Change the 4 stud bolts with new ones as supplied in the kit (as shown in the illustration above).

3. TEST FITTING THE OIL PAN

Temporarily test fit the new oil pan to check if there is any interference/contact with the oil strainer and the
bottom of the oil pan. Also check all areas to be sure that everything fits well.

4. OIL PAN INSTALLATION

(1) Remove any signs of oil and grease from the gasket
contact areas of the oil pan.
(2) Apply the liquid silicone gasket (three bond 1215 is
recommended). Apply about 4-5mm thick layer of
silicone on the surface to ensure adequate spread.

(3) After the silicon has been applied and the pan has
been installed, allow 5 minutes for it to dry.

* When installing the oil pan, check to be sure that the
swing plates are closed. Since these are easy to open,
it's best to check before sealing the pan.

(4) Tighten the bolts with a torque wrench.

5. TEST DRIVE AND OIL LEAK CHECK

(1) Check that the liquid gasket has dried hard. Each liquid gasket brand dry time varies. Please check on
that brands package to be certain of the dry time required.

(2) Once the liquid gasket has dried, you can then put engine oil into the engine.

(3) Start the engine and whilst it's idling, check for any signs of oil leaks.

NOTE: Since the oil pans capacity has increased, you'll need to add extra oil in the engine.
