NUT TIGHTENING
NOTE!
■ When fitting the gasket please try not to scratch nick or scar the surface of the seat or the bore.
■ When installing the Gasket please meticulously check for any unwanted foreign material, grime on
the cylinder head and cylinder block surface. Check all the oil and water galleries for any burr or
grime. Check for cleanliness and high pressure air dry prior to sealing.
* 12 sided nut ① Apply thread lock paste to the inside of the
Thread and the contact surface and bolt screw as
shown on the left.

【 Left Bank 】 ② The following is the 3 step process of torque
tightening.
(1) 3.0kgm (29.4N・m) tighten.
Front (2) 7.5kgm (73.5N・m) tighten.
(3) 12.4kgm (121.6N・m) tighten.
