BOLT TORQUES
NOTE!
■ The Bolts and screw holes threads must be clean and free from grime.
■ If the torque specs are not followed as below there will be a risk of possible Cylinder Block distortion.
Please be sure to tighten up the bolts to the specified torque specs as noted below.
■ Please check, clean and correct the blocks threads with a tap to the right thread size of the bolt
to ensure correct torque loads are applied to the bolts when assembled.
① Apply grease on the bearings surface of the
* Assembly Nuts (Hexagon) Thread Hexagon shaped nut as shown on the left.
② Apply thread lock paste on the lower part of
the bolts thread that inserts into the nut.
③ ① Lock the double nut on top of the bolt.
Bearing Surface
④Then tighten with the Torque Wrench.
Torque Specs: 1.5kgm (14.7 N・m)
Double Nut Lock TOP
⑤ Then remove the double nut.
NOTE!
Do not move the bolt when removing the nuts.
If the bolt was moved then you will need to
Apply thread lock paste repeat the process.
