Follow the procedures in
Before You Begin

Slide the keyboard cable into the connector on the system board and press down on the keyboard cable connector latch to secure the keyboard cable.
3.
Align the screw hole on the keyboard with the hole on the palm rest.
4.
Replace the screw that secures the keyboard to the computer base.
5.
Replace the center control cover (see
Replacing the Center Control Cover
).
6.
Replace the battery (see
Replacing the Battery
).
