Removing the Camera Board

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the battery (see

Removing the Battery

).


 

3.

Remove the center control cover (see

Removing the Center Control Cover

).


 

4.

Remove the keyboard (see

Removing the Keyboard

).


 

5.

Remove the hard drive (see

Removing the Hard Drive

).


 

6.

Remove the palm rest (see

Removing the Palm Rest

).


 

7.

Remove the display assembly (see

Removing the Display Assembly

).


 

8.

Remove the display bezel (see

Removing the Display Bezel

).


 

9.

Disconnect the camera cable from the connector on the camera board.

 

10.

Remove the screw that secures the camera board to the display cover.

 

11.

Remove the camera board off the display cover.

 

Replacing the Camera Board

 

1.

Align the camera board over the screw hole.
