Delete an existing User

To delete an existing user, select the user from the list and click Delete

User.

NOTE:

There is a list of reserved users which cannot be added / modified as BMC

users. Please Refer “MEGARAC SP-X Platform Porting Guide” section “Changing

the Configurations in PMC File-> User Configurations in PMC File” for the list of

reserved users.

PEF

Platform Event Filtering (PEF) provides a mechanism for configuring the

BMC to take selected actions on event messages that it receives or has

internally generated. These actions include operations such as system power-

off, system reset, as well as triggering the generation of an alert.
In MegaRAC GUI, the PEF Management is used to configure the following:

• Event Filter
• Alert Policy
• LAN Destination

To open PEF Management Settings page, click Configurations > PEF from

the main menu. Each tab is explained below.
