2. Attach one end of an AUI cable, no longer than 50 meters in length, to
the port on the EPIM-X (Figure 4-6) and the other end to the intended
node.

4.2 FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
The SEH is now ready for operation. Before placing the network into
service, test the installation thoroughly, making sure that all stations can
be addressed and that the SEH and all stations are indicating normal
operation. Ensure that the networking software is configured properly to
match the installed network. If errors or abnormal operation are
encountered, proceed to Chapter 5, Troubleshooting.
