Field Operations
This section presumes that all pre-operation checks have
been made on both tractor and drill, and drill is loaded
with seed and any treatments.
Final Field Checklist
Planting Sequence
1. Lower drill openers at initial seeding point.
2. Pull forward and begin planting.
3. Raise drill for turns (meters stop automatically).

Drill hitched, chained and unfolded. See page 17 and
page 33.

Set seed and fertilizer drives per charts and
calibration. See Seed Rate Manual.

Set drill selector valves (if present) to Markers and
Opener Lift. See page 43 and page 44.

Reset acremeter FIELD ACRES to 0000.0 if acreage
monitoring is desired. See page 47.

If installed, Shaft Monitor power ON.
❑
If installed, Point Row Control module ON, and set for
either ALL or SECTION CONTROL.
