3.2 Environment and Location
The instrument is intended to operate in the following environment:

NOTE:
The recorder is designed to be panel mounted and as such should be considered as fixed
equipment or permanently connected. If permanently connected, disconnection from the supply
must be possible via a customer supplied switch or circuit breaker rated at 120V or 240V
(dependent on local voltage supply) 5A minimum when connected to an AC supply or 30V 2A
minimum when connected to a DC supply. This disconnection device must disconnect all
current-carrying conductors. It must be included in the panel installation and should be clearly
marked, in close proximity to the Recorder and easily accessible to the operator.
3.3 Installation
The recorder is sized to fit in a standard DIN panel cutout of 5.43” x 5.43” [138 mm x 138 mm] and requires a
minimum of 6.5” [188.2 mm] behind panel depth not including power and input source cable space needed.
