3. WIRING
The 4399 can be used in many different applications but the drawings below show two common ones: momentary release of a fail
safe or fail secure electric lock and timed release of a fail safe electric lock using the 4399 and SARGENT’s #TMR2 - Multi-Function
Timer or #TMR9 - Release Hold Timer. Momentarily pressing the button will release the lock for the amount of time set on the TMR.
The wiring is also done in double break fashion so that even if the timer fails, the button will be able to momentarily release the lock
for added safety.
