INSTALLATION
3.06 Input Voltage Selection
NOTE
For power supplies to use 575 VAC input power, the
unit must be setup for 460V three-phase operation
and the Optional 575V Transformer Assembly must
be installed.
The Power Supply has two voltage settings; HIGH VOLT-
AGE (380-415/460 VAC) or 208/230 VAC. All Power Sup-
plies are factory-wired for 380-415 VAC or 460 VAC, three-
phase input as ordered. Input voltage selection is
accomplished by switching an internal voltage selection
block and auxiliary transformer input connector inside
the Power Supply.
WARNING
Disconnect primary power at the source before as-
sembling or disassembling the power supply, torch
parts, or torch and leads assemblies.
Power supplies are factory-wired for HIGH VOLTAGE,
either 460VAC or 380-415VAC, as ordered. Voltage can
be changed from HIGH VOLTAGE to 208/230 VAC or
220 VAC (low voltage), as follows:
HIGH VOLTAGE
Low Voltage
460 VAC
208/230 VAC
380-415 VAC
220 VAC
To change the voltage selection use the following proce-
dures:
1. Locate the voltage selection block mounted on the in-
put power terminal block on the center chassis.
2. Pull the single wire voltage selection plug from the
auxiliary transformer input connector.

3. Remove the nuts and star washers from the two un-
used power studs.
4. Remove the two nuts and star washers securing the
voltage selection block to the terminal block.
5. Pull the voltage selection block up and out from the
terminal block.
6. Turn the voltage selection block 180° then slide the
voltage selection block back onto the terminal block.
