The PLC display is show in Figure 3-22. Please note the names of the different
areas of the PLC display.

• Relay output 500 is a “fail safe”, normally open relay. It is equipped with
a 15 second delay, intended to identify pump operation.
• Relay 500 will disengage, (turn “OFF”) if the PLC does not recognize
alternating condition of the EOS inputs within the 15 seconds.
• The pump will require manual engagement by turning relay 17901
“ON” (see section 3.1.b).
• During initial start-up relay 500 will be “ON” or in the closed position (~15
seconds) while verification for EOS probe alternation is performed.
