DIP Switches
Located within the body of the 1747-KFC15 module are three banks (S1,
S2, and S3) of eight DIP switches. These switches are used to configure
the RS-232 serial communication port.
Important: The communication parameters between the SLC500 and the
KFC15 must be identical. Refer to Chapter 4 for more information.
Use a ball-point pen to set any of the switches within the three banks to on
or off.
Important: Do not use a pencil because the tip can break off and short the
switch.
