Before the operator attaches a load to the Eazi Lifter, the load must be located directly beneath

the boom. A good way to determine whether the load is centered under the boom is to winch
the lifting rope thimble up or down with the hand winch, so that the thimble hangs freely at a

height just above the load. Move the load so that it’s clearly centered beneath the lifting rope.
Never use the Eazi Lifter to pull or drag the load sideways, even if the distance seems
insignificant.

WARNING: Never use Eazi Lifter to pull or drag load sideways.

When using hand cups to lift the load, make sure both the load surface and the faces of vacuum

pads are clean and free of debris (see MAINTENANCE: V

). The position of

the vacuum pads on the window or load is important to ensure the stability of the load, to avoid
overloading the hand cups, and to ensure that the Eazi Lifter boom will retract appropriately to
draw the window or load into final position. Following are some requirements and guidelines to

assist in positioning the hand cups on the load.
