c. Tighten the threaded adjustment collar to secure the Eazi Lifter between the lower

surface and the upper reveal. The collar should be tightened a minimum of 3
additional turns once the head plate makes contact with upper reveal to sufficiently

compress the spring-loaded head post. As the collar is tightened, a spring is
compressed and maintains pressure between the surfaces. Depending on the
surface hardness and rigidity, additional turns may be needed to ensure a secure
fit.

WARNING: Always place head plate to securely contact upper window opening

or wall, to prevent Eazi Lifer from falling outward.

WARNING: Make sure height is appropriately adjusted and threaded adjustment

collar is tightened to securely fit under upper reveal.

5) Once the Eazi Lifter has been erected correctly, the boom latch can be released, the boom

extended, and the lifting rope thimble lowered to attach a load (see OPERATION: T

O

L

OWER A

L

OAD

). Then the Eazi Lifter is operational.

6) Use optional lifting kit ELFK to connect hand cups for attaching windows or other appropriate

load materials. This kit is only compatible with Wood’s Powr-Grip N4300(XX), N4950(XX),
N5300(XX), N5450(XX), N6450(XX), and N6292(XX) series hand cups. See SPECIFICATIONS
for the reduced capacity when using 8" [20 cm] hand cups. Install the attachment clasp on

each hand cup by spreading the hoop until it snaps around the handle. Position the clasp at
the release valve end of the handle with the clasp flange parallel to the face of the vacuum
pad. Install and tighten the supplied screw and nut to fasten the clasp securely in place.

7) Attach the hand cups to the lifting rope thimble using the supplied lift chain and quick links.

The quick links must be inserted though the appropriate link in the chain and through the
attachment clasp on one end and the lifting rope thimble on the other end. In most cases the
appropriate chain length between the thimble and clasp will be shorter than the supplied
chain (see OPERATION: T

O

A

OAD TO THE

IFTER

). Excess chain length may be

secured by inserting the quick links through additional links in the chain. Once the quick links
are installed, thread the link closed and firmly snug.

WARNING: Make sure every quick link is securely closed before lifting load.

8) Test the Eazi Lifter as directed in MAINTENANCE: T

ESTING

S

CHEDULE

. Be sure to perform the

Load Test before putting the Eazi Lifter into service. Do not attempt to raise or lower loads

unless the brake on the hand winch is functioning correctly, as described in the OPERATION
section.
