Regency Horizon™ HZ30E-1 Gas Fireplace
INSTALLATION
Read the instructions below carefully and refer to the images. If the logs are broken do not use the unit until they are replaced. Broken
logs can interfere with pilot operation.
Improper positioning of the logs and lava embers may create carbon build-up and can alter the unit's performance which is not covered
under warranty.
*Satin black paint is included if touch ups are required.

Log Brackets - HZ33CE / HZ30E
1. S hut off gas and electrical supply, allow unit to cool to room temperature.
2. Remove fl ush glass door (see unit manual).
3. Carefully remove the logs from the packaging and unwrap them.
The logs are fragile, handle with care -never force into position.
4. Ensure glass crystals are installed on the burner.

HZ33CE INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
5. HZ33CE only- Install log bracket onto left side of burner with 2 screws
as shown below.

6. Install log clip to lip on burner tray - position 9-1/2" from the left edge
of the burner tray to the centre of clip.
7. Install Rear Log (1), seat on log clip and rest on left log bracket.
Right side of log should sit fl ush with the outside edge of the pilot hood.
8. Place Log 5 on the glass crystals on the left side.

9. Place Log 4 on the glass on the right side in location shown below.
