WARNING: Calibrate the SC-01 in a non-hazardous environment.
1. Before performing a span adjustment, perform a fresh air adjustment as
described above in “Performing a Fresh Air Adjustment”.
2. Use the sample tubing to connect the calibration cup to the regulator.
The 81-1139RK calibration cup (used for all gases except Cl
2
and NH
3
)
has a label on it that indicates the required flow direction through the
cup. If the 81-1139RK calibration cup is used, make sure to connect the
sample tubing to the appropriate fitting so that the calibration gas flows
through the calibration cup in the direction indicated on the label.
WARNING: If the 81-1139RK calibration cup is used and the sample
tubing is not connected to the correct fitting on the
calibration cup, the calibration will not be accurate.
