AHRI
--- Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration
Institute Test Standard
ASHRAE --- American Society of Heating, Refrigerating
and Air Conditioning, Inc.
EER
--- Energy Efficiency Ratio
IEER
--- Integrated Energy Efficiency Ratio
NOTES:
1. Rated and certified under AHRI Standard 340/360, as
appropriate.
2. Ratings are based on:
Cooling Standard: 80_F (27_C) db, 67_F (19_C) wb
indoor air temp and 95_F (35_C) db outdoor air temp.
IEER Standard: A measure that expresses cooling
part---load EER efficiency for commercial unitary air
conditioning and heat pump equipment on the basis of
weighted operation at various load capacities.
3. All 580J units comply with ASHRAE 90.1 Energy
Standard for minimum EER and IEER requirements.
4. 580J units comply with US Energy Policy Act (2005).
To evaluate code compliance requirements, refer to
state and local codes or visit the following website:
http://bcap---energy.org to determine if compliance
with this standard pertains to your state, territory, or
municipality.

NOTES:
Heat ratings are for natural gas heat exchangers operated at or below 2000 ft (610 m). For information on Propane or alti-
tudes above 2000 ft (610 m), see the Application Data section of this book. Accessory Propane/High Altitude kits are also
available.
In the USA the input rating for altitudes above 2000 ft (610m) must be derated by 4% for each 1000 ft (305 m) above sea
level. In Canada, the input rating must be derated by 10% for altitudes of 2000 ft (610 m) to 4500 ft (1372 m) above sea level.
