OPERATION
This Mulch Tucker is designed to be mounted to tractors with category I 3-point hitch.
Clevis pins (7/8 dia.)
are provided for attaching to the tractor’s lower links. Fasten to upper tractor link securely with a 3/4" pin
(not provided).
To park the machine, lower it to a level surface; then block it so that it will not roll.
After the first 1 - 2 hours of use, check over all fasteners to insure that they remain tight. Periodic checks
should be made thereafter.
The mulch tucker is reversible and can be pulled in either direction. It is assembled at the factory, as
shown in Figure 2, for the most common use. The model shown in the illustrations in this book is the
standard 8’ model. This machine is also available as a 6’ model or with only the front coulter (or “tucker)
section.
To Reverse Direction: (See Figure 3)
1.
Move lift compononts to opposite end of machine.
2.
Relocate stop bolts which connect front and rear frames. (This is needed only if rear
section is to float.)
3.
If they are not already present, install new reflective decals so that amber is toward the
front and red toward the rear. These can be ordered from your Brillion dealer as follows:
2J430 - Red reflective decal
2J431 - Amber Reflective decal
