Installation:
Install the TabCruzer using the supplied hardware to a mount per the instructions 1.
provided with the mount.
Connect a Mini USB cable to the Mini USB Jack on the back of the TabCruzer (Fig. 1). 2.
Connect the 3.5mm Audio Cable to the Audio Jack on the back of the TabCruzer (Fig. 3.
1). Alternatly, FM transmitters, applified speakers or cassette adapters can also be
plugged into the TabCruzer.
Route and restrain the cables using the provided cable ties (Fig. 1). 4.
Plug a Mfi approved USB car carger into a 12v accessory outlet and plug the USB Cable 5.
into the USB car charger. Note: If using an ignition switched 12v accessory outlet, your
iPad will puase automatically when the vehicle is turned off.
Install your iPad into the OtterBox Defender series case per the instructions included with 6.

USE:
Open the docking connector cover on the OtterBox Defender series case (Fig 2). 1.
Fully depress the Lock Button to open the TabCruzer 2.
Slide your iPad into the TabCruzer without seating it onto the docking connector 3.
Press down on the Slide of the TabCruzer to seat your iPad and close the dock. A click 4.
will be heard when fully closed. Lock with key if desired.
When the TabCruzer is powered, audio will not play through your iPad speakers. 5.
The USB Cable can be unplugged from the car charger for easy syncing with a personal 6.
computer. Do not plug the USB Cable into vehicle or stereo USB jacks. Doing so may
damage the TabCruzer, your iPad or vehicle/stereo system.
