Cleaning the LED heads

WARNING
DO NOT use cleaning materials that
contain ammonia, alcohol, any type of
spray, or any type of flammable substance
to clean the inside or outside of the
machine. Doing this may cause a fire or
electrical shock. Use neutral detergents.
IMPORTANT
DO NOT touch the windows of the LED
heads with your fingers.

Before you clean the inside of the
machine, turn off the machine’s power
switch. Unplug the telephone line cord
first, and then unplug the power cord
from the AC power outlet.

Fully open the top cover by lifting up on
the handle (1).
IMPORTANT
When the scanner is open, you cannot
open the top cover.

Wipe the windows of the LED heads (1)
with a dry, lint-free cloth. Be careful not
to touch the windows of the LED
heads (1) with your fingers.

Close the top cover of the machine.

Plug the machine’s power cord back into
the AC power outlet first, and then plug
in the telephone line cord.Turn on the
machine’s power switch.
