Visually check the lanyard anchor points to see that
they are not deformed or cut off.

Visually inspect the platform guardrails to see that
none of the tubing has been cut out, removed, or
deformed in any way.
Visually check the guardrail welds to see that none
is cracked nor ground down.

the light flashes at approximately one flash per sec-
ond when the motor key switch is turned on.
