Synopsis
Below is a synopsis of the command for enabling and disabling Apple Qmaster services
on a computer. The
qmasterprefs
command is located in /usr/sbin.
qmasterprefs [options] [-cluster | off> [options]] Command Options This table provides information about each of the enabling and disabling service-node Description Preference command option Displays information about supported options for qmasterprefs . -help Lists the current qmasterprefs settings. -list Restarts cluster processes. cancelJobs deletes batches in the queue. -resetCluster [cancelJobs] Enables or disables Bonjour advertisements. -allowBonjourDiscovery Sets sharing state. (Similar to the Apple Qmaster pane in System -startSharing [servicesOnly | servicesAndCluster | servicesAndQuickCluster] Stops Apple Qmaster services on local computer. -stopSharing Restarts all Apple Qmaster services. -restart Resets Apple Qmaster services to default configuration. -reset Automatically launches content agent at startup. -launchContentAgent | off> Sets logging level. Default is 3. Off is 0. Sets whether logs are -log [0-5] [truncate on | off] Displays service node status indicator in menu bar. -statusMenu Turns cluster-controlling services on or off.
