Step 11

Carefully pull the internal plastic mount
upwards a few inches to unlock it from
the base.

Step 12

Cut the factory cable zip-ties to release
the BMW wiring harness from the
internal plastic mount using a pair of
long-reach dikes.

Cut the zip-tie shown.
