4. Open a new browser window and go to http://www.myakitio.com .
5. Enter the MAC address of your network drive (default) or the device name that you have
previously registered. Enter your login credentials and login.
6. You are now automatically redirected to your network drive, no matter if you are currently at
home or on-the-road.
Note
When using the registration service, we identify your network drive by its MAC address. The device
will automatically call home to our registration server and inform it of its IP address.
We use this information to provide the remote login function. By itself, this information cannot be
used to determine the identity of any user, unless you specifically tell us. This information is kept
private.
