Enhancement settings

You can define the settings that the phone uses by default when it is
connected to a compatible headset, car kit, or inductive loopset. This
menu is shown only if the phone has been connected to one of these
accessories at least once.

To access this menu, press

Menu

in standby mode, and select

Select

Headset

Handsfree

or

Loopset

, if the corresponding accessory has

been used with the phone. Select

Default profile

to select the profile that is automatically activated

when you connect the selected accessory to the phone. You can select
another profile while the accessory is connected.

Automatic answer

to set the phone to automatically answer an

incoming call after five seconds. If

Incoming call alert

is set to

Beep

once

or

Off

, automatic answer cannot be used.

Lights

to set the lights permanently on (

On

) or to remain on for 15

seconds after a keypress (

Automatic

). This setting is available only

when

Handsfree

is selected.

Security settings

To access this menu, press

When security features that restrict calls are in use (call restrictions,
closed user group, and fixed dialing), calls still may be possible to the
official emergency number programmed into your phone.

. Select

Code in use

to set the phone to use the UPIN or PIN code. The UPIN

code option is shown only if a USIM card is inserted into the phone.

PIN code request

(or

UPIN code request

, depending on the

setting) to set the phone to ask for the PIN code of the SIM card (or
the UPIN code of the USIM card) when the phone is switched on.
Some cards do not allow this setting to be changed.
