• EDITING A NAME, NUMBER OR TEXT ITEM

Search for the name and number you want to edit and press Details.

Scroll to the name, number, or text item you want to edit, and press Options.

Select Edit name, Edit number, or Edit detail, and edit the name, number,
or text.

Press OK
when finished.
• DELETING CONTACTS
To delete contacts one by one:

Select Menu >
Contacts > Delete > One by one and scroll to the name and
number you want to delete.

Press Delete and press OK to confirm.
To delete contacts all at once:

Select Menu >
Contacts > Delete > Delete all, scroll to Phone or SIM card,
and press Delete.

Press OK and confirm with the security code.
• COPYING CONTACTS
You can copy names and phone numbers from the phone’s memory to your SIM
card’s memory and vice versa.

Select Menu >
Contacts > Copy.

Select From phone to SIM card or From SIM card to phone.
•
To copy from phone to SIM card, select One by one, All, or Primary numbers.
•
To copy from SIM card to phone, select One by one or All.

Scroll to the contact you want to copy and press Copy.

Choose Keep original to keep the original contact, or Move original to delete it.

Press Select to proceed with copying or moving entries.
• SENDING AND RECEIVING A BUSINESS CARD
You can send and receive a person’s contact information as a business card using
IR or as an over the air (OTA) message if supported by the network.
Receiving a business card
To receive a business card using IR, make sure that your phone is ready to receive
data through its IR port, see “Infrared” on page 85. The user of the other compatible
phone can now send the name and phone number using Infrared.
