The following figure shows the computer’s right side.

Microphone jack Headphone (S/PDIF) jack
Optical media drive USB port Volume control
Volume control Use this dial to adjust the volume of the stereo
speakers or the stereo headphones.
Headphone (S/PDIF)
jack This jack lets you connect speakers or stereo
headphones (16 ohm minimum). When you
connect a speaker or headphones, the internal
speakers are automatically disabled.
This jack can be used also as S/PDIF jack and
enables connection of optical digital
correspondence apparatus.
Microphone jack A 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables
connection of a three-conductor mini jack for
monaural microphone input.
Optical media drive The computer is configured with either a DVD
Super Multi drive or a DVD Super Multi drive with
Dual Layer support.
Universal
Serial Bus
(USB 2.0) port One Universal Serial Bus port is on the right side.
