Using the Remote Controller
This computer includes a remote controller that allows you to perform some
functions without getting up and using the computer.
Connecting the Remote control receiver
An infrared receiver, which connects to one of the computer's USB ports,
allows remote control and enables the use of Microsoft
®
Windows
®
XP
Media Center Edition.
The remote control receiver
The Access indicator turns on when signals are received.
1. Connect the provided USB cable to the USB port on the rear edge of
the remote control receiver.
Connecting the USB cable to the remote control receiver
The Remote Controller is only provided with the TV Tuner models.
The Remote Controller is designed specifically for this computer. Some
application programs may not support remote control functions.
This external remote control receiver only works with Microsoft
®
Windows
®
XP Media Center Edition and therefore cannot be used directly
with QosmioPlayer.
