EDITING IMAGES
RESIZING
You can change the size of a selected image to 640
× 480 or 320 × 240 and
save it separately. Use this function when you want to reduce the image
data volume, for example: when you send an e-mail with an image attached.

Close the lens barrier and
press the
button.
The camera turns on in the Play mode.

Display the image you want to
resize on the monitor and
press the
button.
The monitor shows the Play menu.

Select [EDIT] using the
/
buttons and press the
button.

Select [
] using the
/
buttons and press the
button.

Select [640
× 480] or [320 ×
240] using the
/
buttons
and press the
button.
The size of the image is changed and
the resized image saved separately.
Caution
• Movies or images edited on a PC can not be processed using
the resizing function.
• If the selected image size is 640
× 480 or less, you can not
select [640
× 480] in the menu.
• If the selected image size is 320
× 240 or the image is rotated,
you can not select [
] in the menu.
• This function is not available if you are using a SmartMedia
card with a write protect seal attached.
• Resized images may become grainy.
