E-Mail TX (SMTP) Settings
Information such as the SMTP server that is required to send the data as an
e-mail attachment in Scan mode can be specified. Also, e-mail authentica-
tion can be specified.

Detail
If running an antivirus program on the e-mail server, the binary division
function may not be able to be used. For details, ask the network admin-
istrator.
To receive binary e-mails, an e-mail client that supports receiving sepa-
rated e-mail is required. Note that even if separated e-mail is received it
may not be combined depending on the e-mail client being used.

E-mail Send Setting
Specify whether to use an e-mail transmission.
Scan Send
Specify whether to use a scan transmission.
Status Notification Function
Specify whether to use the status notification function.
Total Counter Notifying Func.
Specify whether to use the total counter notification func-
tion.
Detail Setting
Specify the SMTP details. For details on specifying the set-
ting, refer to “SMTP Detail” on page 3-92.

SMTP Server Address
The SMTP server address used to send e-mail can be
specified. For details on specifying the settings, refer to
“SMTP Server Address” on page 3-91.
Binary Division
Sets whether to send large volume of e-mail in small sizes
and separated. Use to send data that has exceeded the
maximum capacity when the maximum capacity is limited
per e-mail on the e-mail server.
Divided Mail Size
Sets the divided data size when dividing the data to be
sent. To change the value, press the [C] (clear) key, and
then use the keypad to type in the value (between 100 and
15000 kb).
