2.2.4 Adding Ports
You can add ports that you will use with My Print Manager.
Port Addition Procedure
You must be logged on to Windows as an administrator to add ports.

On the taskbar, click [Start], and then display the list of printers.
– On Windows XP/Windows Server 2003: On the taskbar, click
[Start], and then click [Printers and Faxes].
– On Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows Server 2008/Windows
Server 2008 R2: On the taskbar, click [Start], [Control Panel],
[Hardware and Sound], and then click [Printers] (on Windows 7,
click [View devices and printers]).
– On Windows 8/Windows Server 2012: On the taskber, click [Start],
[All apps], [Control Panel], and then click [Devices and Printers].

On the [File] menu, click [Server Properties].

Click the [Ports] tab, and then click [Add Port].

Type the port name (using up to 246 characters), and then click [OK].
