Step 4: Activate (or deactivate) the follow-me number
Once you have programmed at least one follow-me num-
ber, you can activate the follow-me option.
1. Select {1ST FOLLOW or {2ND FOLLOW} from the
MAILBOX OPTIONS Menu.
2. Press {ACTIVATE} or [1];
you receive the FOLLOW ME ACTIVATION Menu:
3. Select the desired option by dialing [1], [2] or [3].
To deactivate the follow-me option

Press {DEACTIVATE} or [2] in step 2, above.
ANSWERING A FOLLOW-ME CALL
Answering a follow-me call to a telephone
When you have activated follow-me for a telephone exten-
sion (regular or PABX/CENTREX) or external number and
you receive a message, the telephone extension or exter-
nal number rings, and you hear a recorded announcement:
"This is a recorded message for ".
You then hear the following options:
If the requested person is present
dial [2]
If the person is unknown dial [3]
If the requested person is not present now dial [4]
To answer the follow-me call
1. Dial [2];
you are asked to enter your password.
2. Enter your password; you hear your message.
To activate for all new messages {NEW} [1]
To activate for EXTERNAL and URGENT
messages only {EXT & URGN} [2]
To activate for URGENT messages only {URGENT} [3]
