6. Install the new hard disk drive fan assembly bracket into the chassis by aligning the four latches

on
the bracket with the corresponding holes in the chassis and pushing the bracket inward until it snaps
into position.

Replacing an optical drive

This section provides instructions on how to replace the optical drive.
1. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 11.
2. Remove the front bezel. See “Removing the front bezel” on page 12.
3. Locate the optical drive. See “Locating internal components” on page 7.
4. Note the location of the optical drive cables. Disconnect the signal and power cables from the rear of
the optical drive.
