5.2.2 Setting the RS-485 Bus Termination
DIP-switch 1 sets the RS-485 bus termination of the VS-88DTP. Only the first and
last physical units on the RS-485 bus must be terminated, all others must be
unterminated. Moving the DIP-switch up turns the termination off (default), moving
the switch down enables the termination.
Figure 5 illustrates the factory default PROG TERM DIP-switch positions.
