Connecting the ETHERNET Port via a Network Hub (Straight-
Through Cable)
You can connect the Ethernet port of the
VS-44HDxl to the Ethernet port on a
network hub or network router, via a straight-through cable with RJ-45
connectors.
6.8.3
Configuring the Ethernet Port
After connecting the Ethernet port, you have to install and configure it.

6.9 Controlling via the REMOTE Connector
You can force the routing of one of the four inputs to any of the four outputs

by
remote control. To do so, connect the appropriate REMOTE input terminal block
connector pins to a contact closure switch.
To route input 1 to output 4, as the
example in Figure 9 illustrates,
momentarily touch, firstly, output #
4 to the Ground, and then secondly,
input # 1 to the Ground.

In the dual-link mode, only inputs and outputs 1 and 2 are used (as are the INPUT
and OUTPUT selector buttons). Remote PINs 3 and 4 and Selector buttons 3 and
4 are not used.
