S Tighten the fastening screws for diagonal
fastening at first only slightly
(see Fig. 7: Q).
This enables the FDG−... to be aligned
correctly before further fitting is underĆ
taken.
S Position the FDG−... parallel to the driven
linear axis.
If you are using the FDG−... in conjunction with a drive axis type DGE−.. or
DGP(L)−...:
S Make sure that the slide surfaces of both
axes lie at the same height within the
complete positioning stroke.
S Place the diagonal connection and the
work load on the slides of the FDG−... and
the drive axis so that:
ć The tilting torque of force F remains
parallel to the cylinder axis and disĆ
tance d remains small.
Force F here contains the inertial force
F = m
⋅ a, force due to weight and any
external force.
ć Loadings do not exceed the max. perĆ
mitted values.
In the case of guide axes with several slides
S Compare the distance between the two
slides with the minimum distance as
shown in the adjacent diagram.
