Deleting an Alarm
To delete an alarm:
1
Select the alarm entry to be deleted by clicking once
on its row in the Alarm Threshold Table.

Click Modify.
The Modify Dialog box appears.

Open the Status drop-down menu and select invalid.

Click Apply.
The alarm is deleted. Click Refresh to view updated
information.
Modifying an Alarm
To modify an alarm:

Select the alarm entry to be modified by clicking once
on its row in the Alarm Threshold Table.

Click Modify.
The Modify Dialog box appears.

Modify the parameters, as desired, following the guide-
lines on page 3-25.

Click Apply.
The alarm is modified. Click Refresh to view updated
information.
Field Description Action
Sampling
Interval The polling interval that
determines how often to
make the measurement. Enter a number (in sec-
onds).
Note: The shorter the
sampling interval, the
more traffic on the net-
work.
Owner String The name of the person
who defined the alarm
entry. Enter an eight-byte octet.
