Easy edit of image data on a PC
Easy edit function
Easy edit can be performed using the image data saved on the
PC.
The easy edit function provides the following 2 functions.
Editing of image data: Split or delete scenes and produce the top
menu on the image data.

Recording of the favourite image: Collect your favourite videos
and scenes from several image data, and then record it on the
media in the AVCHD or DVD-Video format.

If the following edits are executed and the images are
then recorded on an SD card or a DVD disc, scenes
being played back may stop for several seconds where
scenes were switched during playback on a DVD/BD
recorder.
- Select scenes and execute [Select videos to copy to
media]
- Select video where some scenes are coupled and
execute [Select videos to copy to media]
- Select video where some scenes were deleted and
execute [Select videos to copy to media]
z Do not use any other software, such as Explorer, to delete, change, or
remove the folders or files associated with the image data copied on the PC
with HD Writer. Changes made by other software may result in HD Writer
being unable to properly display, copy, or edit the copied images.
z HD Writer will not function with any image data copied to a PC by any other
application even if the folder name appears (Example: data copied with
Windows
® Explorer). The copy function ( l31) of HD Writer must be used to
copy data.
z When the media created by [Select videos to copy to media] in the easy edit
function plays back on a video camera, unnecessary scenes cannot be
skipped using Intelligent scene selection.
