When a notification about a new version of the software appears on the display

When a new version of the HDD AUDIO PLAYER software is available through the Network Update
function, the message [A new version of the software is available. Update the software now? To update
later, go to the "Settings" menu and select "Network Update". For details on updates, see the Sony
website.] is displayed. (The [Software Update Notification] function is set to [On] by default to display
this notification.)
The functions of the HDD AUDIO PLAYER can be updated to the latest version by performing the Network
Update function.
To update the software, select either [Now] or [Later].

If you have selected [Now]: Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to update the software.
If you have selected [Later]: Select [Settings] - [Network Update] from the Home screen to update
the software.
